The final multiplier event of GrandMas’ Story took place in the library of Bussolengo, a city not far from Verona (Italy).

Together with us, two other local projects celebrated their ‘birthday’ or the end of the activities.

The first one is ‘Pace Creativa’ that for ten years has involved migrated women in the local community through cooking, art therapy and craft. The second one is ‘A spasso coi tempi’, a project that allows old and young people to meet and have a real exchange of competences, knowledge and passions. Both come from the Municipality itself.

The empowerment of migrated women and the inter-generational approach are the main features of GrandMas’ Story.  Also, the differences became an additional point of enriching. So it seemed natural to work together. The three reality has met, cooperated and decided to implement an only, big, wonderful, final event!

50 people, among social operators, volunteers, trainers and politicians participated.

A delicious buffet was prepared by women coming from the Middle East area.

Volunteers helped in reception and hospitality.

A pop-up exhibition with more than 40 photos and 20 videos was implemented.

And the three project managers and some participants introduced and explained the activities implemented and the goals achieved.

We really want to thank all the people involved in GrandMas since the beginning of the project, for their enthusiastic support, their help and their friendship.

And now… it’s just time to begin the real work…

Let’s make a pop-up exhibition!
