From 22 to 29 August 2022, a delegation from the ‘Constantin Parfene’ school in Vaslui, Romania, realized a study visit to the Comprehensive Institute of Bosco Chiesanuova, on the mountains of Verona. The exchange experience, funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme, Key Action 1, was supported by Glocal Factory. The Romanian delegation consisted of six 13-year-old pupils (four girls and two boys), headmistress Dorina Nemtantu and teachers Daniela Nane and Corina Veliscu. Over the course of the week, the pupils and teachers from the Bosco, Roverè and Cerro middle schools welcomed their Romanian colleagues, carrying out interesting educational activities with them, research and group work, robotics, gamification and body music experiences, and cheese production. During the first weekend and in the afternoons of the week, the Glocal Factory team accompanied the Romanian guests to discover Verona, Venice and the Lessini mountains area.

The Bosco Chiesanuova Comprehensive Institute, led by headmaster Alessio Perpolli, stands out for its highly innovative didactic approaches (among other things, it has just completed, together with our cooperative and six other partners from Italy, Croatia, Spain, Romania, Greece, and Cyprus, the implementation of the European Green Seeds project); and the Parfene school has been using the same approaches for years, especially in its “Step by Step” curriculum. Hence the idea of this ‘Erasmus mobility’, which will certainly give rise to further exchanges and collaborations between the two institutes.
